The line is used for cracking, separating the shell from the kernel and final inspection of hazelnuts.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Cracking, shell separation and final inspection in one step
The hazelnut processing line consists of: spiral conveyor – cracker DLO 120E or cracker DLO 120ER – shell separator – control table. The cracker and shell separator can be mounted on a work stand on one level to save space (shown in the pictures). They can remain on the legs, but then they need to be raised by 40 cm so that the outlet from the shell separator is higher than the intake of the control table (shown in the video).
Hazelnuts must be sorted before processing. Each size is processed separately.
The speed of the spiral conveyor is determined by the electronic regulation. Depending on the number of people controlling at the control table, the spiral conveyor is accelerated or slowed down. One person controlling at the control table can inspect about 10 kg/h of cleaned hazelnut kernels, 2 people about 20-25 kg/h (tested with a Roman hazelnut of caliber 5).
