The hazelnut and almond sorting machine is designed for sorting hazelnuts and almonds in their shells. Sorting is necessary so that the nuts can be cracked with the highest quality, with very little breakage, using our hazelnut and almond cracker DLO 120E or hazelnut, almond and walnut cracker DLO 120ER.
By sorting, the hazelnuts or almonds are sorted into 7 sizes, each of which is cracked separately with a cracker. Due to the equal size of the nuts after sorting, the cracker will crack the nuts with about 2% breakage.
